Pedicure Guide

A pedicure keeps feet comfortable and healthy, not just polished. Delhi's dust, heat and open footwear make regular foot care worth it, and our hygiene steps make it safe.

Choose your pedicure

  • Classic Pedicure — soak, nail shaping, cuticle care, gentle heel work and regular polish

    • Time: 45–50 min · Lasts: 1–2 weeks

  • Spa Pedicure — classic plus scrub, mask, hot towel and a longer massage

    • Time: 60–75 min · Lasts: 1–2 weeks

  • Gel Pedicure — classic care with long-wear gel colour

    • Time: 60–75 min · Lasts: 3–4 weeks on toes

  • Nail Art on toes — designs added to gel

    • Adds 15–30 min

Our foot-spa hygiene

  • The foot tub is cleaned and disinfected after every client

  • A fresh single-use file, buffer and pumice for every client

  • Metal tools are sterilised between clients

  • We never use razor-type callus blades

When we will wait or adapt

  • Fungal infection of the nails or skin (athlete's foot)

  • Open cuts, blisters, or an infected ingrown toenail

  • Painful warts or corns — we will suggest a podiatrist or doctor

  • Diabetes or poor circulation — please tell us; we use lukewarm water, a shorter soak, no cutting of skin and very gentle filing

  • Recent leg shaving or waxing (see below)

Before your appointment

  1. Don't shave or wax your legs for 24 hours before. Tiny nicks let bacteria in during the soak.

  2. Remove regular toe polish, or let us do it. Never peel off gel.

  3. Wear or bring open-toe footwear so fresh polish isn't smudged on the way home.

What happens in the chair

  1. Consultation and foot check

  2. Warm soak in a freshly disinfected tub

  3. Nail shaping straight across to prevent ingrown toenails

  4. Cuticle care — softened and pushed back; only loose skin trimmed

  5. Heel and callus smoothing with a single-use file or pumice

  6. Scrub, mask and massage (spa services)

  7. Polish or gel and a finishing moisturiser

Aftercare

  • Regular polish: wait 1–2 hours before closed shoes; fully hard in about 12 hours

  • Moisturise heels every night; cotton socks overnight boost results

  • Keep feet dry, especially between the toes

  • Wear breathable footwear and change socks daily

  • Don't cut cuticles or dig at nail corners at home

  • Cut toenails straight across, never rounded into the corners

How often

  • Healthy, comfortable feet: every 3–4 weeks

  • Summer or cracked heels: every 2 weeks

  • Gel on toes: refresh every 3–4 weeks with professional removal

  • Big event: book 1–2 days before

Call us if

  • Redness, swelling, warmth or pain develops around a toenail

  • A cut doesn't heal in a few days — please also see a doctor, especially if you are diabetic
