Getting started: Salon profile
Set up the salon details customers see first, including your name, contact details, location, hours and description.
Overview
Your salon profile is the foundation for your public presence and booking experience. Keep it complete and truthful so Indian customers can recognise and contact you.
Who can use it
Salon owners and managers can maintain the shared salon profile. Staff access depends on their role and salon membership. Basic setup is available before adding paid POS tools.
Before you begin
- Keep your legal/business name, phone number, address, city and state ready.
- Confirm opening hours, a short description and approved photos.
Steps
- Open Salon basic setup from Getting Started.
- Choose to add your salon manually or find and claim an existing directory listing.
- Enter the name, contact and address fields, then select the correct Indian state.
- Add your description, opening information and images where the form provides them.
- Save, then review the public-facing details before moving to the next guide.
Best practices
Use one primary phone number, a recognisable name and a concise description. Update hours for holidays rather than promising availability you cannot keep.
Important rules and limitations
State selection uses the platform's supported Indian state list; city is entered separately. Only information you are authorised to publish should be added. A profile does not by itself create services or guarantee a booking slot.
Troubleshooting
If you cannot continue, check that required fields are filled and that you manage or have claimed a salon. Recheck the state and phone format, then save again. Contact support if a claimed listing is not available.
