Getting started: Online booking

Prepare your salon services and weekly booking hours so customers can request appointments online with clear expectations.

Overview

Online booking uses the salon's published services and configured weekly booking hours. Customers can request appointments during enabled hours; the salon still manages the appointment outcome.

Who can use it

Owners and managers can configure the shared weekly booking hours. Customers use the public booking flow, while staff follow the salon's normal booking process.

Before you begin

Confirm your profile, services, durations and prices. Decide which days and times the salon accepts online requests.

Steps

  1. Open Booking Setup from Getting Started.
  2. Review each weekday's enabled state, opening time and closing time.
  3. Enable only the weekly periods during which the salon can accept online requests, then save.
  4. Check each service's name, duration and price in the catalogue.
  5. Open the public booking path and test a date in an enabled period.

Best practices

Keep weekly hours realistic, update them when the salon's regular timetable changes, and publish only services the team can deliver. Explain to customers how your salon handles requests.

Important rules and limitations

Booking Setup controls weekly booking hours only. It does not configure advance-booking rules, staff rosters, holiday exceptions or guarantee a confirmed slot. Online availability also depends on the saved services and the salon's booking process.

Troubleshooting

If a day is unavailable, check that its weekday is enabled and its times are valid. If a service is absent, check the catalogue. Re-test after saving and contact support if the public form cannot submit.

Completion checklist

  • Every weekday reviewed
  • Enabled hours match the regular timetable
  • Services and durations accurate
  • Public booking test completed
