Getting started: Messaging settings
Review your messaging wallet, approved templates and delivery analytics for safe, consent-aware salon communication.
Overview
Messaging Settings is the salon's control centre for the messaging wallet, message templates and messaging analytics. It is not a screen for turning automated booking notifications on or off.
Who can use it
Owners and authorised managers can review the salon messaging areas and wallet actions. Other roles may have limited or read-only access, depending on role and plan.
Before you begin
Sign in to the correct salon, confirm the phone identity used by the salon and have the wallet or template information you need ready.
Steps
- Open Messaging Settings from Getting Started.
- Review the wallet balance and available wallet actions.
- Open the templates area to review the configured message templates and their purpose.
- Open messaging analytics to review the available sending and delivery information.
- Use campaign or other feature-specific screens for their own audience, review and send controls.
Best practices
Keep salon identity and template wording accurate, review wallet usage regularly, and respect customer promotional opt-outs. Read delivery analytics rather than assuming that a queued message was delivered.
Important rules and limitations
Messaging Settings does not itself enable automated booking-notification toggles. Sending can depend on wallet credits, provider configuration, approved templates and recipient eligibility. A queued message is not a delivery guarantee.
Troubleshooting
If a message is not sent, check wallet status, template status, provider configuration and delivery analytics. For a booking communication issue, inspect the relevant booking or messaging feature rather than looking for a notification toggle here.
Completion checklist
- Wallet balance reviewed
- Templates checked
- Analytics understood
- Opt-out handling understood
