Getting started: Reports and analytics
Use sales, payment, expense and team reporting to make practical salon decisions without guessing.
Overview
Reports bring recorded salon activity together so owners can review trends and investigate decisions. They are only as complete as the entries behind them.
Who can use it
Owners and managers can review the broadest reports. Cashiers and employees may see only role-appropriate or self-scoped information.
Before you begin
Record recent bills, payments, purchases and expenses. Choose a date period and confirm the intended salon before comparing results.
Steps
- Open Reports or Analytics from the dashboard.
- Select the report area and India-local date range you want to understand.
- Read totals with their labels, including sales, refunds, expenses or staff measures.
- Compare a like-for-like prior period and investigate unusual changes in source records.
- Use the result to choose one action, then review again after enough new activity.
Best practices
Use consistent date ranges, reconcile against invoices and cash, and avoid judging performance from one busy day. Export or share only information the recipient should see.
Important rules and limitations
Reports reflect recorded events and role access; they do not estimate missing activity. Payment, invoice, refund and expense measures can have different date meanings, so read each report's labels and basis.
Troubleshooting
If totals seem wrong, check filters, date range, cancelled/refunded records and whether the activity was saved. Confirm the active salon and refresh before comparing periods.
Completion checklist
- Date range and salon verified
